Danelectro D-5 Fab Chorus Effects Pedal
I usually go with the higher end effect pedal such as digitech but being out of a job and needing to rebuild my musical equipment collection after it was stolen. I was VERY happy with this item. I paid for it and it was well worth it. The effect it’s self isn’t spectacular but its it rivals some or even dollar pedals I have used. For the price I give it five stars but as a musician I must look at the pedal it’s self and not the price and in my opinion it’s a pretty descent chorus pedal! I give it four stars and until I am working again I think I will be buying more of these cheap danelectro pedals to help me get the effects I need for the music I write.

Product Description
Rich, vintage tone.
Really low quality – South Dakota –
Some might say you get what you pay for, but the effect this pedal produces isn’t even worth the price. A chorus effect should give a pleasant, rich, shimmery sound. This one gives either slightly distorted or a spacey electronic warble, depending on where you put the levels. I was very disappointed and returned the product because it didn’t do at all what it promised. Some might like those sounds, but I found it awful.
Great little pedal – Retro – Arizona
when you buy this make sure that you also buy the ac adapter. This pedal sounds awesome. It has a thick plastic body, but I imagine that it would take a little stomping. I use the stomp button as a push button. I set it on top of my practice amp and reach over to press the button when I want it turned on. I believe that this pedal will last me for the rest of my life.
great sound btw, and it is easy to dial in the sound that you are looking for. I would recommend this thing to anyone.
Great inexpensive effects – BobbyG – Pgh, PA
Hard to argue with the price on a very effective – nice-sounding chorus. Not sure what battery life will be, but I like the sound and love the price.
Broke – J. McCracken –
I barely used the pedal and it stopped working. It still has passthrough while it’s plugged in but it doesn’t effect the sound at all like it used to. I opened it up thinking maybe a wire came loose or the chip was burned out, but it looked perfectly fine.
It does sound nice and clean while working. The plasic is very durable for how cheaply they produce these things. I would definitly buy another one, but not right now…
