LYRICS ? ============= If I had to I would put myself right beside you So let me ask Would you like that? Would you like that? And I don’t mind If you say this love is the last time So now I’ll ask Do you like that? Do you like that? No Something’s getting in the way Something’s just about to break I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane So tell me how it should be Try to find out what makes you tick As I lie down Sore and sick Do you like that? Do you like that? There’s a fine line between love and hate And I don’t mind Just let me say that I like that I like that Something’s getting in the way Something’s just about to break I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane As I burn another page As I look the other way I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane So tell me how it should be Desperate, I will crawl Waiting for so long No love, there is no love Die for anyone What have I become Something’s getting in the way Something’s just about to break I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane As I burn another page As I look the other way I still try to find my place In the diary of Jane ================================ Thanks!

my Band’s facebook : www.facebook.com (like it ! ) for the 20 th anniversary of the nevermind album, and to increase the quality of my most viewed covers (the nirvana ones) here is the complete nevermind record ! I hope you will like it . I will redo in HQ all the studio albums , because the quality of my old nirvana covers is bad. so I kick them out (oh my god the 20k view…for each) so for the “nevermind ” session I use a 90′s fender mustang sonic blue left handed, who has a di marzio chopper on the bridge, a left handed fiesta red fender jagstang for the songs in D tuning ,a eko classical guitar, a boss ml2 as the dist, the mesa boogie roadking as the amp, and the small clone as chorus . ENJOY nirvana fans ! Stefano icon smile NIRVANA come as you are guitar cover HQ my bands : www.myspace.com/nomaweb www.myspace.com/sassydress

Songwriter/singer/guitarist Bill Withers is best remembered for the classic “Lean on Me” and his other million-selling singles “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Use Me,” but he has a sizable cache of great songs to his credit. Al Jarreau recorded an entire CD of Withers’ songs on Tribute to Bill Withers (Culture Press 1998). His popular radio-aired LP track from Still Bill, “Who Is He? (And What Is He to You?),” was a 1974 R&B hit for Creative Source. Born July 4, 1938, in Slab Fork, WV, Withers was the youngest of six children. His father died when he was a child and he was raised by his mother and grandmother. After a nine-year stint in the Navy, Withers moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career in 1967. He recorded demos at night while working at the Boeing aircraft company where he made toilet seats. His recording career began after being introduced to Clarence Avant, president of Sussex Records. Stax Records stalwart Booker T. Jones produced his debut album, Just As I Am (with some co-production by Al Jackson, Jr.), which included his first charting single, “Ain’t No Sunshine” that went gold and made it to number six R&B and number three pop in summer 1971 and won a Grammy as Best R&B Song. Its follow-up, “Grandma Hands,” peaked at number 18 R&B in fall 1971. The song was later covered by the Staple Singers and received airplay as a track from their 1973 Stax LP Be What You Are. “Just As I Am” featured lead guitar by Stephen Stills and hit number five R&B in summer 1971

Lick of the Week 13 – Tom Richardson

Tom’s ‘Lick of the Week’ Number 13! Subscribe for a new lick every other Monday! Get the tab at leftyfretz.com Subscribe to Tom! www.youtube.com Web – leftyfretz.com Twitter – http FaceBook – www.facebook.com Consider leaving a video response if you manage to nail this week’s lick! Lick 13 is an ascending line using an Am7 Arpeggio as the basis. The first four notes are the R, b3, 5 and b7 taken from the arpeggio. The next note at the 9th fret is the 6th interval (F#) taken from the A Dorian scale for some added colour. The same shape is then used an octave higher starting from the 7th fret of the D string and the F# is featured again at the 11th fret of the G string. The second bar features 3 notes played with slides. Pick the first note only then slide in to the others for a smooth sound. Try taking the m7 Arpeggio shape to create more licks. Start with the root note then add the b3, in this case it’s always 3 frets higher, and then repeat this shape a perfect fifth above on the next string, like the first 4 notes in bar 1. A Major7 arpeggio can be created in the same way. Alter the arpeggio to give a major 3rd interval instead of a b3 by making the second note 4 frets higher instead of 3 frets. Then repeat this same shape again up a perfect fifth. This can be a good starting point to playing outside the familiar box shapes.

Worth a try, isn’t it? There’s a lot of mood and movement packed into this little two-bar phrase, and it requires you to work a fingerpicked groove that has a feel and strength normally reserved for strums. This is tricky to get underhand, but once you have it you won’t want to stop.

This is an original instrumental written by Pierre Chenier, with contributions from the guys in the band. Pierre is the left-handed guitar player.
