itunes.apple.com www.facebook.com www.twitter.com This is an Anna & David original. I wrote the chord progression and he added the neat rhythmic counterpart. I wrote the vocal melody and he helped form it with some ideas. Then I wrote the words about feeling lost and wanting to find my way back home. Driving on Moving fast Chasing lines Making paths Finding out What I’ve done Is who I was Not who I am I went left Instead of right And never spent a lonely night And here I am In sinking sand Without a hand Without a hand To hold me To hold me Ooh Please take me Oh, take me home I’ve been lost before Never quite like this Where is home And how do I know Which way up is Reaching out Drawing in Thickest walls Leather skin Holding on But holding what? Where is hope when hope is lost? I gave up On life and love And everything worth dreaming of And here I am In sinking sand Without a hand I need a hand To hold me To hold me Ooh Please take me Oh, take me home CHORUS ©2011 Anna C Johnson and David C Mitchell, Robobarista Publishing “Home” is one of the tracks on the upcoming record! Another word often used to describe the thickness of the gui tar pick is the gauge. This is a word I cant even pronounce correctly, so I won’t use ever again. Instead I prefer to use the names Light, Medium, Heavy and Extra Heavy. This article will cover the importance of thickness for these four categories and which plectrum you should choose to play.
